Your role
As a .NET Test Engineer, you ensure that our software is reliable, stable and future-proof. You combine manual testing with automated testing solutions to detect bugs before our customers do. You think critically about how we can test smarter and more efficiently and continue to build our internal testing framework.
Your responsibilities
- Manual functional testing of new and existing features.
- Writing and maintaining automated end-to-end tests in C#.
- Analysing failing tests: is there really a bug, was the server down, or is that button suddenly somewhere else? You do the triage.
- Further building on the existing test framework set up by students, aimed at further strategic improvement.
- Thinking along on a strategic level: what is already tested, what is not yet tested and how do we tackle this in a structured way? You help map test coverage.
It would be great if you have the following qualifications
- A first experience with software testing, manual or automated.
- Basic knowledge of C# or the motivation to pick it up quickly.
- You can read and understand test results.
- You love tracking down errors and won't let go until you know why something went wrong.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks is a plus, but not a must.
- Experience with CI/CD or test strategy? Even more points for you.
